“Half Moon” is the new single from new New York-based Slic available digitally on Fire Talk imprint Open Tab. Slic’s “warped pop songs play like stripped-down miniatures of early Grimes tracks” (the FADER), and this collaboration with fellow shapeshifting duo OCTOGON is both hypnotic and otherworldly, filled with sharpened synth and dreamy overdubbed vocals that paint an ethereal sonic mood that’s built for both the club and the comedown.
